OSHA Revises Guidances on COVID-19 Recordkeeping & Enforcement

OSHA has issued two revised guidance memos on recordkeeping and enforcement in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. On May 26, 2020, the previous memos from April on these topics will be rescinded, and the new memos will go into and remain in effect until further notice.

OSHA Enforcement Discretion Policy for COVID-19 Pandemic

OSHA has issued a new memorandum on Discretion in Enforcement when Considering an Employer’s Good Faith Efforts During the COVID-19 Pandemic, which applies broadly to all industry sectors and will take effect immediately and remain in effect until further notice.
