Hydrite Chemical Co. continues to closely monitor developments with respect to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We have been taking steps to ensure the safety and wellness of our employees and customers, review business continuity plans, and evaluate the need and attendance at group gatherings.

Hydrite has implemented many additional measures to prevent the spread of disease in our facilities, which are aligned with the Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) guidelines. Effective immediately, we have negotiated with our cleaning contractors to provide increased cleaning and disinfection activities that will focus on common touch points in our facilities such as doors, railings, common countertops, and cafeteria areas. Additionally, Hydrite is following and has communicated to our employees the CDC’s Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers, which includes recommendations for staying healthy and preventing the spread of disease.

Regarding supply chain management, Hydrite has proactively qualified many alternative suppliers of raw materials that are sourced from international manufacturers. We continue to identify and qualify alternative suppliers of raw materials in the event that certain suppliers are not able to supply product.

In our manufacturing facilities, Hydrite has a robust set of GMP Prerequisite Programs which prevent the contamination and spread of communicable diseases from employees to finished product.

Hydrite currently maintains a Business Continuity Plan, which identifies essential business functions and roles to maintain business operations, and outlines a plan for how our business would operate if there was increasing absenteeism or supply chains were interrupted.

Our Crisis Management Team is actively monitoring any developments relating to Coronavirus (COVID-19). With executive oversight, we’ll continuously evaluate, update and communicate any required changes to our response and related business continuity plans as provided for by the CDC, WHO and local, state and federal health and governmental authorities.
