In Memory of Jack Drawdy
Many of us had the pleasure of seeing Jack just last month in Nashville at the SOCMA Show, where he was, as always, his jovial self — laughing, connecting, and bringing people together. Jack’s contributions to our industry were significant, but it’s the relationships he built that leave the deepest impact. He was a true connector — generous with his time, warm in spirit, and always ready with a smile. SOCMA and its members are better because of Jack’s involvement, and he will be deeply missed.
A Note from Jennifer Abril, SOCMA President & CEO
On a personal note, I will miss Jack immensely. He never failed to greet me with a hug and a kind word, and our conversations often turned to our sons — swapping stories about their athletic and personal accomplishments and the joy they brought us. Jack was the kind of person who made you feel instantly at ease, and I’ll always be grateful for his friendship and support.
Our thoughts are with Jack’s family, friends, and the SCT team during this difficult time. Services will be held this Saturday, March 29. Details can be found here.
On behalf of the entire SOCMA team, we extend our deepest sympathies and join you in remembering a truly special person.
