International Process Plants Earns ISN RAVS Plus® designation, highlighting its commitment to maintaining safe and sustainable operations in plant asset decommissioning and relocation
PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ – International Process Plants (IPP), a global leader in the purchase, remediation, redevelopment and relocation of industrial manufacturing plants, systems and equipment, today announced it has earned the prestigious RAVS Plus® designation from International Suppliers Network (ISN).
The recognition identifies IPP as a highly qualified, safe, reliable and sustainable service provider and supplier to its global partners. IPP executes projects globally in purchasing, remediating and dismantling industrial sites, process units and equipment for those partners.
ISN is the world’s leader in industrial contractor safety and environmental compliance management, trusted by ISN’s hiring clients, including industry leaders such as Dow Chemical, Novartis, Invista, SI Group, Mosaic and INEOS.
Only an estimated 15% of participating companies earn this recognition from ISN as fully complying with contemporary industry safety standards it sets as part of the RAVS Plus® designation.
“There are a lot of companies that talk about safety and sustainability, but it is not something we just talk about. It is the core of our purpose,” said Ross Gale, Vice President of International Process Plants. “The safety and well-being of our team members, our clients and the environment are at the forefront of what we do when sustainably repurposing idled industrial sites and assets.
“What we do in terms of recycling, or upcycling — using assets that already exist and putting them back into service — is the highest form of sustainability and responsible care for our planet,” added Gale, “And we’ve been doing this since 1978.”
“Our team has worked diligently to earn this recognition,” said Santino Pasalano, Global Director of Projects. “We pride ourselves on our ability to meld the industry’s most stringent health, safety, environmental standards and sustainability goals. We are grateful to be recognized and share this news with our partners who trust us to handle the complex work involved in decommissioning, dismantling and relocating plants, and restoring sites to a higher and better use. One-hundred percent of the work we do is at chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, paper, polymers, and energy industry plant sites, so our targeted, specialized experience makes us keenly aware of the unique risks omnipresent in our daily activities.”
The RAVS Plus® designation assessment was conducted by ISN officials and was specific to how IPP breaks down plants and systems that manufacturers have divested—taking a deep dive into understanding IPP’s work processes, systems to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance, HR regulatory compliance and other technical qualifications as required by ISN’s hiring clients. Those systems and equipment can be packaged and shipped to another location or stored at one of IPP’s three warehouses in the United States, Germany and the UK, housing more than 15,000 pieces of quality secondhand process equipment ready to ship to a new user.
“We are excited to continue to offer our complete plant solutions to buyers and sellers along with this new third-party confidence from ISN in our ability to execute in a safe, responsible and sustainable way,” Gale said.
