Lloyd Lirio Named President of Connecticut Specialty Chemical Company
Kate Hampford Donahue Moves into CEO Role
Stratford, CT – Hampford Research, Inc, a family owned specialty chemical manufacturer for over 40 years, is proud to announce, Lloyd Lirio has been promoted to President effective January 1. Kate Hampford Donahue will continue in her role as CEO.
“I’m proud to have Lloyd succeed me as President. As a second-generation owner of HRI, Inc, this is an important milestone for the company and I,” said Kate Hampford Donahue, CEO. “Together, we will continue to move the company forward and build on our legacy as a preferred manufacturing partner in the electronics, printing, coatings, and personal care markets.”
Lirio previously served as Vice President and General Manager of HRI. With his progressive career experience in strategic manufacturing operations and approach to creating high-impact teams, Lirio will oversee day to day management of the company.
“HRI provides its customers with R&D support, toll and contract manufacturing services, and product scale-up and commercialization expertise,” said Lirio, President. “I’m excited to serve as the company’s third president and continue the tradition of providing superior technical support and commercialization expertise for our current and future customers.”
Hampford Research, Inc will be attending the SOCMA Specialty & Custom Chemicals Trade Show at the JW Marriott Nashville on February 19-21, and is available to meet with project partners.
