McEwan Named Head of POWER’s Human Resources

BOISE, Idaho — POWER Engineers, Inc., has named former Simplot human resources director Kayce McEwan as its new Chief Human Resources Officer.

“We had an amazing list of candidates, both internal and external,” said POWER Chief Strategy Officer Randy Grass. “In the end, Kayce’s results-driven leadership on a global scale, including her focus on long-term planning and building high-performing teams, made her the best fit for the role.”

Kayce McEwan is named Chief Human Resources Officer at Power Engineers.

McEwan most recently served as the Head of Human Resources for the J.R. Simplot Company’s Global Food Group business unit, a 5,500-person group with offices across nine countries. McEwan served for 28 years at Simplot leading key human resources initiatives such as talent acquisition, leadership development, labor relations, business partnering, and international mergers and acquisitions.

McEwan has served on the board of the POWER Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded by POWER Engineers, since 2019. In addition to this service, she’s a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters, a past president of the Human Resources Association of the Treasure Valley, and a 2013 recipient of the Tribute to Women in Industry Award.
