For more than nineteen years, Mr. Lung has supported energy efficiency and clean energy programs through research and analysis of best practices and technologies as well as outreach and policy analysis on behalf of federal, private sector and non-governmental organizations.
Mr. Lung has worked as a Senior Associate at Resource Dynamics Corporation, as Director of the Alliance to Save Energy's Industrial Program, and as President and owner of his consulting firm, Industrial EE Advisor, where he worked for the Institute for Industrial Productivity, the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy and the Electric Power Research Institute.
Currently, Mr. Lung is an ORISE Fellow with the U.S. DOE's Advanced Manufacturing Office where he supports the Better Plants and Technical Assistance programs by helping with expansion of industry participation and developing program elements that offer value to manufacturers and industrial-scale energy end users.
Mr. Lung serves on the US Technical Advisory Group to TC 242 and the advisory committees to the Industrial Energy Technologies Conference (IETC) and the Multiple Benefits project.
Mr. Lung holds a bachelor of science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and a Master’s in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic & State University.
